A former DJ and lead singer of a punk band, Jun Takahashi started UNDERCOVER as a small shop in the alleyway of Harajuku more than 10 years ago. Today, he has more than 30 stores spread through out Japan. This year, he opened stores outside of Japan for the first time, in Taipei and Hong Kong.Opened on the first week of June, the Taipei store generated a lot fanfare for the brand in Taiwan. Customers no long have to travel to Tokyo to buy goods from UNDERCOVER. Recently, Freshness had the chance to see more of the store, inside and out, during its afterhour.

A.P.C. is def one of my favorite clothing companies, I’ve been working on a pair of their New Standards for 4 months now, they’re freakin awesome… Sherry just copped a pair of (fairly) skinny jeans from Diesel, they are not selvage though. I think the cut is called the Liv, the wash is undistressed – not raw but close to it, feel kindda like the 3-wash selvage RB6… They look dope, next pair for her is gonna be some super skinny jeans from APC…

I’m def gonna cop the military style jacket from APC when it gets colder, I tried it on at Nom de Guerre and it was a very nice fit… 😉 I’m still pissed that I didn’t get to their sale early enough, they had it for half price!!!

Just checked Oddica‘s site and saw these cool new designs! I love their tees, AA tees got great fit, and they’re cheap enough so I don’t mind getting new ones like every other month… Yeah, AA stuff really don’t last long, so don’t buy any AA shit at full retail… StyleForum and SuperFuture got hookups to get them at close to half price. 😉

Took a bunch of pictures to ready the extra pair for eBay. I was gonna get a piece of plexiglass from Home Depot for these pics, but didn’t have time to go there today. So I just used my black seamless… here’s one of them…

Update: COPPED! Lined up at around 8:30 yesterday, RECON/NORT opens at 11, so not too bad. The first-in-line dude went there at 3am. hardcore! (but nothing compared to the Stash release, I hear people started queueing up on Wed!!)…

Found a video (which needs to be rotated!) of us on YouTube, it was taken by one of the dudes who works at Recon…

They didn’t have size 8.5 but I fit in an 8 just fine, Sherry picked up a pair in 9, we’re trying to decide to offload them now or wait… So far they’ve gone for around $190 on eBay so tempted to flip them now… Make me an offer if you’re interested… will save us the hassle and paypal/ebay fees and you some money… 😉
