limited run of 2000 cars, no backseats, 217 hp @ 7100, 184 ft-lb @ 4600, top speed of 150mph. If they geared this thing correctly it will be pretty damn fast. (I hope it has an LSD, but since it is available as a option on the MCS’ now, it probably has it on the JCW GP edition)

Jet-powered VW bug takes to the street – Engadget

Ron Patrick wanted a VW Beetle with a jet engine (hey, who doesn’t?). But he also wanted to be able to drive it on the open road, rather than just on a closed airport runway surrounded by fire engines and EMT crews. His solution? A dual-engine vehicle, with a normal VW motor for day-to-day transportation, and a GE T58-8F helicopter turboshaft engine converted to run as a jet, to get through rush-hour traffic.

This might be fun, Circuit Mont Tremblant, a former F1 circuit, looks like a lot of fun, and from the circuit map it seems quite high-speed, Not sure if I could get up to the F430 top speed of 196mph, but probably at least 160mph or so. The school is extremely overpriced though, but then you get to drive an F-car, and doesn’t look like they offer F430’s with clutch pedals. *sigh*

For the price I’d rather go to Skip Barber 3 times!!
