Costco
It takes forever to get gas from Costco here…
Evo picked up by shipper
Sherry texted me this morning and told me Intercity Lines had picked up my Evo, she said they were very professional and inspected the car like with a microscope. My car should get to the bay area mid to late next week! Woho!
I need to cancel the pickup with Horseless. Intercity Lines was slightly cheaper and was able to pick up a week earlier.
Google Talk
Nice, DIE AIM, Yahoo IM, and MSN… Actually, I’m still gonna stick with Skype unless Google talk is a lot better… (with features like encryption, SkypeOut, SkypeIn, and voicemail)…
Looks like Google Talk is nothing but Jabber, I’ve used Jabber for about 5 years now, with my friend Dan’s server… Oh well…
UPDATE: The Windoze client works for me, but I can’t get to it with Adium via Jabber, weird…
Soda machine
I’ve always wanted one of these at home… 🙂
ECM

Espresso machine at Atheros
They got a nice espresso machine at work, it’s a bit used, and I’m not sure if the grinder is dialed in, but it has boiler and pump pressure gauges, I think it’s made by ECM.
They store the beans in the freezer though, a bad sign, I will just have to bring in my own fresh beans. 😀
Santana Row
Certainly wouldn’t mind living there, I’m guessing the 1BR apartments go for around $2k/month… I shouldn’t… 😉
Canon PowerShot SD30 / IXUS i Zoom
Canon PowerShot SD450 & SD550
Man, Canon surely been busy working on new cameras… the SD450 is very interesting… I sold my PowerShot S100 (aka Digital IXUS), might pick up one of these SD450 is the CA (purple fringing) isn’t as bad as the SD400.
Canon PowerShot SD450 & SD550:
Two more additions to the Canon ultra-compact line are the new five megapixel SD450 (IXUS 55) and seven megapixel SD550 (IXUS 750). Both cameras feature a new wide viewing angle 2.5″ LCD monitor, DIGIC II image processor, Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries and SD card storage. They also have a surprisingly useful new feature which rotates the image in display mode depending on which orientation you are holding the camera. These models will be priced at $399 and $499 respectively.
