I’ve seen it and I have long wanted a portable reader that I can bring with me on travel. However, the ugliness and lack of color are huge turn offs for me. I would much rather bring my macbook so that I can read, browse, facebook, work, chat, email, … and more.
It is a good first attempt nonetheless. I just don’t think kids want to read all that much and there are cooler devices than the Kindle. Old people tend to favor the real papers and books. I am not sure what their intended target audience is. I think a lack of focused audience will kill it.
