I use Subversion for work so I thought it’d be easier to just checkout or switch to wordpress’ release tags instead of downloading tarballs every time they have a new release. They actually have instructions on how you track changes with Subversion. I just followed it and the upgrade went smoothly. Next time I can switch to a new release easily.
